During the 2018-2019 financial year The Alexa Trust received individual donations, donations through fundraising events and sales.
Here is an overview from this years activities:
- BT MyDonate was our most popular fundraising platform, unfortunately this shut down mid year and we can no longer receive donations via BT MyDonate. A total amount of 883.89 pounds sterling was raised with 0% commission.
- We signed up to a better package with JustGiving, although we have been paying a monthly fee of 18.00 pounds sterling, we saw an increase in online donations through this platform; of 9,756.90 pounds sterling.
- More individuals made use of the Facebook Fundraising platform this year and a total of 677.48 pounds sterling was raised. Thank You!
- The Alexa Trust saw an increase in sponsorship for our English Channel Relays, we would like to thank The White Horse Pub, Dover and Ovenden for their generous amount of 350.00 pounds sterling.
- Express Yourself had some sales with Smuggler Records in Deal, Kent and our website, 36.73 pounds sterling was raised.
- With the launch of our new project; Parents Fuel Fund, 20 parents will benefit from this at the William Harvey Hospital in Kent. Although with a slow start, payments to the value of 100.00 pounds sterling were made.
- The Alexa Trust donated 5,740.00 pounds sterling to the Human Milk Foundation to fund the first donor milk hub in Kent. The milk hub is expected to open January 2020.
