The Alexa Trust
The Alexa Trust is a UK Registered Charity (Charity Number 1168705) founded in memory of Alexa James, a beautiful baby girl born prematurely in 2015. Driven by their experience, the Trust's mission is to turn this heartbreaking loss into something positive. We support parents with babies in neonatal units (NICUs) across the UK and promote the well-being of mothers and their babies.

"Even the smallest person can change the world." - Desmond Tutu
The Alexa Trust is dedicated to alleviating the stress and hardship faced by families with babies in neonatal care. We accomplish this through a two-pronged approach: directly supporting parents by easing the financial burden of fuel, parking, transportation, and accommodation costs, and funding essential projects for neonatal units themselves. This includes donating vital equipment like breast pumps and sterilisers, as well as funding innovative projects like Kent's first Donor Milk Hub.

"The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places." - Ernest Hemingway
Our vision is a future where every family facing a NICU stay has the support they need, and every mother and baby receives the best possible care.
