Our main aim for 2017 | 2018, is to Raise Funds & Awareness for Breastfeeding Mums in Neonatal
Objectives:
To co-ordinate a neonatal breastfeeding support project, bringing together maternity & neonatal units, breastfeeding charities, community breastfeeding support groups & individual breastfeeding specialists/counselors.
To provide optimal breastfeeding support to neonatal mums. Identifying individual needs from the moment their premature baby is born, throughout time at neonatal, on exit and back in the community.
Bridging the gap between maternity and neonatal units & community support.
Aims:
Supply essential breast pumps and bottle sterilisers for mums to use whilst at hospital.
Give feeding rooms a much-needed make-over and help set-up a donor milk hubs in association with the Hearts Milk Bank (now Human Milk Foundation), UK.
Provide mums with all the tools & equipment they need to make breastfeeding a relaxing and successful experience.
