The Alexa Trust is a UK Registered Charity (Charity Number 1168705), set up in memory of Alexa James. A beautiful baby girl, who was born prematurely in 2015, but sadly lost her battle for life after being born too soon, too small and after experiencing to many set backs.
To make something positive from such a terrible time and to give a little back to parents going through possibly the toughest time they would ever experience. We started fundraising in 2015 and with your continued support we aim to give financial support directly to parents or fund new and exciting projects at Neonatal Units all over the UK.
Our Aim
To Support Parents with Babies in Neonatal
Objectives
To relieve the needs of parents who are in need as a result having a child in a neonatal unit in particular by the provision of grants and such other support and assistance as shall be thought fit; and
To promote and protect the good health of women and their babies through education and raising awareness of pregnancy related issues, particularly preeclampsia, premature babies and neonatal death including the education of those working in neonatal units to enable them to better care for such women and their babies.
